How USTA Junior Rankings Work
The USTA ranks junior players using a Points Per Round (PPR) system. Players earn ranking points based on how far they advance in sanctioned tournaments. Rankings are calculated from a player's best 6 singles and best 6 doubles tournament results.

Bonus Points for Wins vs. Ranked Opponents
Bonus points are earned at ranking tournaments for wins over nationally ranked players. They are attached to the tournament at which they are earned.
